Pranab Baruah is a transdisciplinary researcher and consultant specialising in energy, infrastructure and environmental sustainability analytics and strategy. At Oxford, he has contributed to modelling, analysis and project coordination in three multi-stakeholder consortia on UK energy and infrastructure futures and industrial energy efficiency.
His experiences include corporate carbon management consulting, forest and aquatic remote sensing applications, global terrestrial carbon budget modelling and strategic partnership development between university and external organisations.
With long working and living experience in Japan, Pranab speaks fluent Japanese along with English, Hindi, Bengali and Assamese. He holds a PhD in engineering (geoinformatics), an MBA in energy and carbon management and a professional license in green building design and construction (LEED AP BD+C).
