Tim Braunholtz-Speight

Tim is working as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change, in the School of Mechanical, Aeronautical and Civil Engineering at the University of Manchester.  

He is a social scientist who has previously worked on the social implications of alternative finance, at the University of Leeds, and on a wide range of policy research projects at the Overseas Development Institute, the University of the Highlands and Islands, and Leeds Metropolitan University. His PhD from the University of the Highlands and Islands examined power relations in community land ownership. His research interests are in social power, community, resources and the environment.
