Breakfast Briefing: LGBT+ Leadership in the Energy Sector

8:30 AM - 10:30 AM, 26 July 2019
Energy UK , 200 Aldersgate Street, Barbican, London, United Kingdom

As a geographically disparate industry, serving every individual and business in the country the energy sector faces diversity and inclusion challenges different to many others. These challenges explain why the energy sector had fallen behind other equivalent industries in key indices such as the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index. However in recent years, diversity and inclusion has become a growing focuses for companies of all sizes across the industry with new initiatives, policies and leaders driving positive change.

Pride in Energy and FTI Consulting are delighted to invite you to an intimate breakfast briefing with four leading LGBT+ figures from the energy sector. The panel will be sharing their personal views on the progress made for LGBT+ people in the energy sector as well as their own experiences and insights from their careers. This event will give an in-depth, personal insight into how being LGBT+ has shaped their careers and the ways in which the industry still needs to change.
