Energy Demand Research Challenges Workshop

10:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 13 March 2018
Woburn House,WC1H 9HQ, United Kingdom

Applications are invited to participate in a workshop to discuss the challenges that the energy demand research community should be investigating in the next 5 years.

The workshop follows on from a discussion on research challenges that took place last September as part of the consultation on the future of whole systems, energy demand research in the UK. The aim of this workshop will be to formulate some overarching research questions for key challenges that could be funded either within a new, whole systems research programme and/or separately by the Research Councils.

The workshop will take at Woburn House Conference Centre in London, just a short walk from Euston and Kings Cross stations.

Coffee will be served from 10am.

To express an interest to participatating, please register your details here. It is expected the event will be oversubscribed so when registering please explain why you would like to attend. All registration requests will be assessed, with places allocated to ensure a good mix of interests and organisations.  Places will be confirmed by 1st March: we are particularly keen to encourage representatives from research users to attend.

If you require any further information or have any questions about the event, please contact event organiser, Rachael Mills, at or on 07747 801812.
