This free to attend, one day conference will look at all aspects of inclusion and diversity within the energy sector with engaging speakers.

About this Event

Energy UK is pleased to announce that it will be hosting its first ever ‘Inclusion and Diversity in Energy’ conference, in partnership with Accenture, this autumn.

This conference will look at all aspects of inclusion and diversity in energy including disability, social background, ethnicity and race, gender and sexual identity.

Topics covered will include: the importance of a diverse, sustainable workforce to delivering the future of energy; culture and how to create an inclusive workplace; how data and innovation can help improve diversity; as well as identity and the importance of being able to be your authentic self at work.

Full details of the programme will be released shortly but we are delighted to announce a host of informative and inspiring speakers already confirmed to participate, including Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE, Co-founder of the STEMettes; Maureen Costello, Senior Managing Director, Resources Lead, UK & Ireland, Accenture; David Isaac CBE, Chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission; Laura Sandys, Challenging Ideas – co-founder of POWERful Women and Chair of the Government’s Data Task Force; Sue Ferns, Senior Deputy General Secretary at Prospect; James Taylor, Head of Policy, Campaigns and Public Affairs at Scope, Elizabeth Errington, Citizen’s Advice and Nate Johnston, Head of Organisational Development & Leadership at Imperial College NHS Trust.
