Health impacts of cold homes and fuel poverty

The 6th FPRN meeting will be held in conjunction with the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University as part of the ESRC seminar series on health, cold homes and fuel poverty. This FPRN event forms the final conference for the ESRC seminar series.
The theme for the two-day event is on ‘Understanding the health impact of cold homes and fuel poverty’.
The aim is to reflect on current evidence, discuss work to address / prevent cold related ill health and identify research priorities.
- Day one – 8th November, 10:30am-5.30pm (lunch included). The day will include a number of presentations and activities related to evidence, innovative practice and research priorities. In the evening of Day 1 there will be the option to join other attendees for an evening social at Ego Mediterranean Restaurant and Bar (reserving a place for this can be done at registration).
- Day two – 9th November, 8.45am-1pm (lunch included). We will provide an opportunity for delegates to work in groups with shared interests to develop future research ideas and potential funding applications. A open Space approach will be used for this.
Both days will be held at the Millennium Gallery in Sheffield and there will be a social event on the evening of Day One.
