BIEE , BEIS Conference Centre, 1 Victoria Street, London,SW1H 0ET, United Kingdom

With Brexit, a new government and a new business and energy department, the context for UK energy policy is changing rapidly. In putting in place an energy policy fit for the 2020s and beyond, developments in the coming parliament will be crucial. This year sees the publication of a number of key set-piece policy documents - including the Government’s Green Paper on Industrial Strategy, the Emissions Reduction Plan, the National Infrastructure Commission’s assessment of priorities, and an Energy Smart Systems Report due later in the year. A key theme for discussion at this conference will be the inter-connectedness of industrial strategy, emission reduction commitments, and rapid technology development.
