Empowering New Energy Innovators

Things are changing in 2019. This year, LCNI's energy focus is on electricity.

Britain’s energy networks act as a platform for a whole new range of services and technologies that will help deliver a smarter, cleaner and more efficient energy system for the public.

Working with the widest possible range of innovative new businesses is key to delivering that system, to ensure that network companies are not only to take advantage of the brightest and best of the latest cutting edge technologies, but also to ensure they help new energy innovators across the country find new routes to market.

That’s why for LCNI 2019, our conference theme is empowering new energy innovators.

Each year the programme consistently reaches new milestones setting the standard for innovation in the energy sector. In 2019, electricity will be at the forefront of this momentum and will feature the conference theme empowering new energy innovators.

The two-day programme provides knowledge dissemination for key projects awarded under the NIA and NIC funding mechanisms by seven participating LNOs – SP Energy Networks (headline sponsor), Electricity North West, National Grid Electricity Transmission and National Grid Electricity System Operator, Northern Powergrid, Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks, UK Power Networks, and Western Power Distribution.

The Low Carbon Networks & Innovation Conference (LCNI) continues to break records, welcoming over 1,000 delegates and featuring over 40 exhibitors with UK and international representation.
