Transition to Fossil-Free Industries: Technology Pathways and Policies

On Monday 18 March 2019, the Commission will be co-hosting a policy day in Brussels with the Executive Agency for SMEs (EASME), the initiative IN4climate.NRW and REINVENT.
A broad range of stakeholders will come together to develop a joint understanding of opportunities, challenges and policy needs in the ´hard to abate´ energy intensive industrial sectors. The overall objective will be to explore emerging visions for industrial zero net-carbon pathways and their policy implications and to share information and develop knowledge between key European Commission, core industrial regions, industry and academic experts.
