Women Buying Green Video

Women Buying Green was a project funded by the Whole Systems Networking Fund, that explored women’s decision making role in the household related to energy choices. 

The project conducted a series of stakeholder workshops, focus groups with women to explore their role in investment decisions and a large survey to elicit people’s willingness to invest in low carbon technologies.    

Findings showed that in general there is a low percentage of women willing to invest in low carbon measures in the house.

Investing in low carbon technologies early in life is beneficial for both women and the environment.
