About NERN
The National Energy Research Network is managed by the UKERC Knowledge Exchange Manager Dr Jeff Hardy.
NERN is the UKERC focus for communication and interaction with the wider UK and international energy research community. NERN has been operating since 2006 and been managed full time by Dr Jeff Hardy since January 2008. Since then effort has concentrated on positioning NERN in the wider energy research landscape, raising awareness amongst UK energy researchers, communicating with key stakeholders and initiating projects in community engagement (see links opposite).
NERN aims to:
-
be the first point of contact for anyone seeking information of UK energy research
-
to connect researchers with each other and engage researchers in UKERC activities such as the Research Atlas
-
organise events to bring members of the energy research community together with an aim to facilitating a coordinating or community building outcome.
You can contact NERN at any time – click on the photo of Jeff Hardy to email him or call him on +44 (0) 20 75941572. Some of your questions may also be answered in the NERN FAQ.
