Transport and CO2 Projections Seminar

Transport is currently responsible for about a quarter of total UK CO2 emissions, and in the short term, emissions of carbon from road transport are expected to grow by about 10 per cent from 2000 levels by 2010.
This seminar took place to discuss modelling issues relating to CO2 projections for the transport sector, in particular the assumptions underpinning them. The event also aimed to identify research requirements relating to policy and emission targets for the transport sector to 2050.
