UKERC Privacy notice

This Privacy Policy applies to the UKERC web site – www.ukerc.ac.uk and by accessing the UKERC website you are agreeing to be legally bound by the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy. The UKERC website is run by Enmore Services and you should therefore also read the Terms of Use before using the website. 
Whilst providing our services we may from time to time collect certain information about visitors to our web sites. By providing any of your details to us you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the provisions of this Privacy Policy and to the Terms of Use that apply to the services that you are using.

Information Requests/Registrations:
Some sections of the UKERC website use information request or registration systems. If you submit a request for information or submit a Registration/Order, we will store all the information you send us in a database. This information may include your name, e-mail address, postal address and other information related to your use of UKERC services.
In accordance with Data Protection laws we do not offer for sale or make available to any third parties, any personal information, e.g. names and e-mail addresses. It should be noted however that since the internet does not recognise national boundaries, all web services on the net are accessible globally, therefore collection and transmission of personal data is not always confined to one country. You should be aware that by using the UKERC website your personal data may be processed in or transferred to other countries, the USA for example, and you agree to your personal data being transferred or processed in this way.
Surveys:
In addition to required client/registration information, we may conduct surveys and ask users to volunteer demographic information to be used on an aggregate basis for internal market research. We use such information to better focus our services and to personalise their scope to each individual user. Such information will not be passed to third parties without your prior consent unless where required by applicable law.

People who use UKERC services:
UKERC offers various services to the public. For example, we send out publications and distribute an electronic newsletter. When people do subscribe to our services, they can cancel their subscription at any time and are given an easy way of doing this.
