Applications are assessed and financial assistance provided on a case-by-case basis. As a guide, the Meeting Place normally covers the cost of an appropriate venue, all catering during the event, and the cost of any social activities which are part of the programme.
The Meeting Place provides room and board without charge for all meeting participants. Personal expenses (phone and fax, incidentals, passports and visas) are the participant’s responsibility. Most conference participants cover and arrange for their own travel, although assistance is available for participants from academia and the third sector.
The Meeting Place is not able to support any costs associated to cover participant’s time, nor do we pay speaker fees. We do not provide per diems.
