How to Apply

Applications for membership should comprise a CV and a brief statement (up to four pages) explaining: why you would like to join the Committee; what you feel you would bring to it; and how your experience and background match the first three criteria specified above.

Specific examples would be helpful.

Your application should be emailed to Angela Knight to arrive no later than 5pm 20th April 2009.

How members will be selected

Members will be selected by the UKERC Research and Executive Directors and members of the UKERC Advisory Board on the basis of emailed applications. Interviews will not be held.

Next Steps

Successful and unsuccessful applicants will be informed by 11th May 2009. We plan to have a first meeting in late May 2009 and will inform all applicants of the selected date just after Easter.

The aim is to issue the first call for proposals in middle June, with applications closing by 15 September and funding decisions being made by late December. We expect work supported by the Research Fund to start by April 2010.
